PROGRAMS FOR PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS / DISABILITY








4th EXPOSITION ON ISLAMIC INNOVATION 2013  (i-Inova2013)

"INSPIRING ISLAMIC INNOVATIVE MINDS"
25th - 27th Oktober 2013
Nilai Indoor Stadium
Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia

An exhibition and competition on the innovations for people with special needs (hearing impairment, visual impairment, physical impairment, learning disabilities, gerontology, chronic medical conditions and multiple disabilities) will be held in conjunction with the i-INOVA' 13.


Concurrent workshops facilitated by experts will be held on 26th October 2013. Participants can register online at www.i-inova.usm.my/registration.php
Registration is from two groups;

  • Registration are welcome from institutes of higher education and private agencies to participate in the exhibition and competition of innovations product related to people with special needs.
  • Registration are also welcome for family of people with special needs and publics to participate in the workshop. » Click for Workshop OKU

Disabilities Consultation Clinic by multidisciplinary (Pediatricians, Psychiatrists, Otorhinolaryngologists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Audiologists, Speech Language Pathologists, Special Education Teachers, Prosthetic and Orthotic Technologists) will be available for consultation with parents/caregivers.

Carnivals for people with special needs will be organised. We encourage parents/guardians to bring their family members with special needs to participate and enjoy the activities.

Through this special program under 4th i-INOVA' 13, we hope that Malaysians will be educated on the needs, innovations and advances that may enable people with special needs to become productive members of the society. We engage experts to share knowledge, experience and skills with the public to improve the quality of life for this special group of people.
