AMAT menarik, dalam kebanyakan agama dan kepercayaan manusia, sikap ihsan atau belas terhadap yang lemah merupakan tema utama yang begitu bermakna.

Hubungan vertikal antara penganut kebanyakan agama dan kepercayaan tidak akan cukup tanpa wujudnya hubungan horizontal yang menghubungkan antara penganut tersebut dengan sesama manusia, haiwan dan alam sekitar.

Tidak hairanlah, kebanyakan agama menyeru kepada mentaati ibu bapa, berbuat baik kepada sesama manusia, menghormati jiran, membantu mereka yang kurang bernasib baik.

BANYAK MANAKAH KESENANGAN DUNIA?

Dengan Nama Allah Yang Maha Pengasih Lagi Maha Penyayang

Dunia adalah kesenangan yang sedikit dan masanya amat terhad, dan kesenangan itu dinikmati oleh orang baik dan orang jahat. Sedangkan akhirat adalah kesenangan yang hakiki dan abadi..

SURAT DARI ARWAH IBU...

Aku jumpa cerita ni di wall rakan g+ dari seberang.  sedih dan pilu aku rasakan. sebab aku pun sakit dan cacat...

tak tahulah cerita ini betul atau rekaan, aku kongsikan dengan kawan-kawan semua... bacalah, sediakan tisu... 

Ya Allah, rahmatilah kedua ibu dan ayahku...

Surat yang diwasiatkan oleh seorang ibu untuk diberikan kepada anaknya yang telah lama tidak datang menjenguknya di hospital.  Menurut anaknya, dia ada tugasan di luar negara sedangkan dia tahu ketika itu ibu dia sedang sakit tenat.  Sebelumnya pun dia jarang datang melawat ibu ini, tetapi meninggalkan bayaran yang banyak kepada pihak hospital untuk menjaga ibunya yang sedang sakit dan cacat itu...

Ibu ini yang sangat rindu akan anaknya telah meminta seorang jururawat di situ untuk menuliskan surat ini dan menyampaikan kepada anaknya ketika dia telah meninggal dunia.

KISAH TAULADAN, BUNGKUSAN NASI DARI IBU

Cerita ini saya baca di google plus rakan Indonesia, yang sangat memberi kesedaran.  Saya susun semula dalam bahasa Malaysia atau bahasa Melayu yang mudah di fahami.  Mari kita hayati kisah ini ;

Aku bekerja malam dan habis bekerja waktu pagi. Seperti kebiasaan, aku akan dapat melihat bermacam peristiwa didalam perjalanan pulangku. Namun di satu pagi ketika aku pulang dari pejabat dengan menaiki keretaku, disatu persimpangan ketika menunggu lampu isyarat, entah mengapa mataku terpaku melihat satu peristiwa yang sangat menarik yang selama ini tidak aku hiraukan. Seorang remaja berumur dalam lingkungan belasan tahun dengan bersungguh menyelinap dicelah-celah kesesakan kenderaan disebuah salah sebuah jalan di kota Jakarta.

Dengan membawa bungkusan yang cukup banyak, dia mengayuh basikal, mundar mandir membahagi-bahagikan bungkusan tersebut.  Dia amat peramah sekali dengan setiap orang.  Bila bertemu dengan peminta sedekah atau warga gelandangan, tukang sapu dan beberapa orang susah yang berada di sekitar tempat itu, dia akan memberikan bungkusan itu kepada mereka diiringi senyuman.

Peristiwa ini membuatkan hati aku makin tertanya-tanya dan tertarik untuk mengetahui dengan lebih lanjut akan peristiwa yang ku lihat itu. Fikiranku tertanya-tanya apakah yang diberikan oleh si remaja tersebut didalam bungkusan itu. Mungkin makanan... Adakah dia sedang berniaga? Kalau dia berniaga, mana mungkin seorang peminta sedekah dan orang gelandangan menjadi pelanggan tetapnya...?

Daughters are a blessing, not a burden

Children are no doubt a great gift from Almighty Allah to all parents. Parents must think of their children as such treasures that the all the wealth and material resources are worthless as when compared to one’s children. We, as parents, should thank and be grateful to Almighty Allah for blessing us with children whether they are boys or girls. 

Today, it is quite disheartening to see that some parents rejoice when the newborn child is a male and show their dissatisfaction when the child is a female. But, this should not be the attitude. Islam does not condone this type of behavior, as such was the manner of the parents in the time of ignorance.

In pre-Islamic times, the Arabs used to be disheartened and annoyed with the birth of girls, so that a father, when informed his wife had given birth to a girl, said, “By Allah she is not as blissful as a son; her defense is crying and her care is but stealing!”

Jin In Makkah?

Security cameras planted i Makkah appears to have caught what could be a jinn (ghost), clad in white but without a face.

A Saudi newspaper said the creature was filmed by all security cameras planted inside the secretariat building in Islam’s holiest shrine.

“The person was totally clad in white and was standing near one of the building’s doors but his face did not appear…it was round 3am,” Almadina Arabic language daily said, quoting sources at Makkah secretariat.

The paper, which published the picture, said the creature could be a jinn but did not make clear what he was doing in that place.

Amazing Alia! Young Muslim Woman (Cerebral Palsy)

Bismillah

I'd like to introduce you all to an inspiring 18 year old, young Muslim woman who I had the privilege to meet a few weeks ago. She is a brand new member of the Diamonds of Islam Youth Group, she is funny, articulate, intelligent and has an amazing story to tell about her journey through life thus far as a person who was born with Cerebral Palsy.

She gave the speech below at our last youth group session on 'Understanding Disabilities' and gave us the insight as to what her life has been like throughout her childhood and youth. She shares the struggles she has endured and she reminds us that she just wants to be treated like everyone else. Like the rest of us, she should be defined by her talents and strengths and not by her disability.

I love her already. You will too.

My name is Alia and today I like to share with you my story or as I like to call it my “unforgettable journey. Before I begin I thought I share with you a bit about myself.  I’m known for my wicked sense of humour, I’m not sure about that though .My hobbies are reading novels mostly fiction but I’m not bothered. I love watching movies and anything which has humour comedians i.e.; Russel Peters!   I was born in the year of 1995 with a disability called “Cerebral Palsy “. Cerebral palsy is a term which encompasses a set of neurological conditions that causes physical disability in human development - that affects the brain and nervous system. Cerebral palsy is divided into many sub categories and in my case its “Spastic diplegia “which is muscle tightness.

(First) Ten Days (Of Dzhul-Hijjah)

قال صلى الله عليه وسلم: “أفضل أيام الدنيا أيام العشر” رواه البزار من حديث جابر بن عبدالله

Prophet sallAllaahu 3Alayhi wa sallam said: “The best days in this worldly life are the (first) ten days (of Dhul-Hijjah).” (1)

Ibn katheer said: “It has been that in general, the best days of the year are the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah- just as the hadeeth says – and that they are far more superior than the last ten days of Ramadaan!  That is because Allaah has legislated prayer & fasting & voluntary charity etc during the month of Ramadaan, however, the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are distinguished for having been chosen for the performance of the rights of Hajj.” (2)

'Physically Disabled' or 'Enabled for Paradise' ?

Those suffering from mental illness or extreme physical ailments are often treated shamefully by fellow Muslims. Many times, they are overtly excluded from being a part of the Muslim community; whether it's looking at them askance, avoiding talking to them or not making an effort to make our masaajid and Islamic centers wheel-chair friendly, our behavior is in direct contradiction to the Sunnah of RasulAllah (sallAllahu 'alayhi wa sallam).

We tend to use the term "disabled" to describe people who have been tested by Allah in terms of their physical or mentally health - yet what we don't realize is that in many cases, they are actually far more "enabled" than the rest of us are. Our brothers and sisters in Islam who are experiencing these trials in their lives often display levels of patience and strength in the face of hardship than most of us, who enjoy good health throughout our lives, do.

1)shaytan says: “Young girl, in our modern age, every girl chat with boys! Don’t be so conservative dear! We are not in the middle age anymore!”

* Dear sister, don’t listen to shaytan! To chat/to sit with a non Mahram is Haram in Islam! Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) has put limits even in the relationship between a man and his own fiancé (he can talk to her only in the presence of her Mahram) so do you think HE would permit to a Muslim girl to be alone with a stranger man?! If that became so familiar, does that mean is the right thing to do? If the majority of Ummah drink Alcohol (for example) does that mean that other Muslims should drink it too? Of course not! A scholar said once:“Take the way of the righteous, do not be fooled by the lack of its followers…And be aware of the path of misguidance, do not be fooled by the high numbers of the lost ones who followed it"

2)shaytan says: “Please tell me! If you don’t chat with boys, how can you find a husband? How can you meet your charming prince?!”

Second, I am a daughter of a man who raised me to be a chaste woman, I am a sister of a man who is proud of my purity, so I don’t want to disappoint them, and most of all I don’t want to disappoint a third man who is my future husband and the father of my children in shaa Allah, because I am preserving myself to him only
My mom raised me to be a righteous woman so that I deserve a righteous man she never raised me to be a toy in any boy’s hand, but she raised me to complete the Deen of a pious man.

Also, I am not an easy girl who would be impressed with sweet love words, but I am a proud Muslimah who is just like a pearl in its shell no one can touch it but a brave man who would value it and cherish its beauty…

Dear Muslimahs…Know your worth! and Be that One In Million who love to have the love of Their Lord than the love of a boyfriend!!!

So they pumped 690 Millions

There are two types of the people of hell that I not seen yet; men with whips like the tails of cattle with which they strike people, and women who are clothed yet naked walking with an enticing gait with something on their heads that looks like the humps of the camels, leaning to one side. They will never enter paradise or even smell its fragrance, although its fragrance can be detected from such and such a distance.

Praying while wearing shoes

Performing the prayer while wearing shoes is permissible if they are pure (not stained by an impurity).

The basis of this ruling is the Hadeeth narrated by Sa'eed Ibn Zayd may Allaah be pleased with him who said: "I asked Anas may Allaah be pleased with him: "Did the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) use to offer prayers with his shoes on?" He said: "Yes.”

There is also the Hadeeth narrated by Shaddad Ibn Aws may Allaah be pleased with him that the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said: "Act differently from the Jews who do not pray in their leather socks or their shoes."

Ten Points For A Happy Family !

1) Avoid the next quarrel: Never lose temper at the same time. Don’t let the sun set on your quarrels (Never prolong fights if at all started). It is OK to say “I am sorry”

2) Do not expect perfection from your spouse: Marriage is coming together of two imperfect beings. Don’t expect wife or husband to like this or that, accept them as they are.

3) Be a good listener: Think before speaking, it is a good idea to weigh before you speak. You are master of unspoken words but slave of spoken words. Better than listening from ear is listening through mind (with attention) and better than that is listening from heart.
