World's Unique Streets and Roads

1. World's Shortest Street (Ebenezer Place – Scotland)
Ebenezer Place, in Wick, Caithness, Scotland, is credited as being the world's shortest street in the Guinness Book of Records at 2.06m (6' 9"). There is a single address on this weird street: the front door of No. 1 Bistro, which is part of Mackays Hotel, which was constructed in 1883. The owner of the building, a hotel at the time, was instructed to paint a name on the shortest side of the hotel. It was officially declared a street in 1887.

2. World's Narrowest Street (Spreuerhofstraße – Germany)
Spreuerhofstraße is the world's narrowest street, found in the city of Reutlingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It ranges from 31 centimetres (12 in) at its narrowest to 50 centimetres (20 in) at its widest. The lane was built in 1727 during the reconstruction efforts after the area was completely destroyed in the massive city-wide fire of 1726 and is officially listed in the Land-Registry Office as City Street Number 77.

10 Most Amazing Bridges

1. Banpo Bridge (South Korea): The Fountain Bridge

On September 9, 2008, the Banpo Bridge in Seoul (South Korea) got a major facelift: a 10,000-nozzle fountain that runs all the way on both sides. Immediately after being installed, the bridge turned into a major tourist attraction, as the bridge pumps out 190 tons of water per minute using the water from the river below.

2. Millau Bridge (France): World's Tallest Vehicular Bridge
Towering 1,125-ft above the Tarn Valley in southern France, driving along the Millau Bridge is said to feel like flying. This Foster + Partners marvel is slightly taller than the Eiffel Tower, took three years to build and opened to the public in 2004. While it may provide picturesque views of the valley below, once the mist descends it is not a route for the faint hearted! The Millau Bridge has a total length of 8,071-ft with the longest single span at 1,122-ft and a maximum clearance below of 886-ft; in short the bridge is massively impressive both on paper and in real life. The deck is lofted on 7 pylons and weighs 36,000 tonnes. A series of 7 masts, each 292-ft tall and weighing 700 tonnes, are attached to the corresponding pylons.

Super Taxis

DOUBLE KLIK PICTUREs

This car from "Rides Magazine" has been tricked out as a high-riser with spinners to celebrate the Crown Victoria, the most common taxi car model.

Need to get across town really fast? Then this is the perfect taxi for you. A Lamborghini Murcielago with a 6.5 liter engine under the hood, spewing out 633 bhp so you can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds to stop at the red light.

Porsche Cayenne - taxi in Moscow. What happened to old nice Ladas?

This looks like a gangster cab.

Take a look at this Ferrari Enzo sporting, a new Arab taxi design. The $850,000 hypercar was spotted in Muscat, Oman, and also appears to have blacked-out rear lights.
Note: according to Ferrarichat.com, this is photoshopped, but pretty cool anyway.

Hybrid Technologies shows off a concept L-PT Cruiser Yellow Cab. The L stands for lithium, as in the lithium ion battery pack that would give the car a range of 120 miles and a top speed of 80 mph.

Coco taxi, a three-wheeled taxicab used in Havana, Cuba. You can't say you've been in Cuba until you ride in one of those.

These taxi's wide, interchangeable doors can be hosed down. A built-in ramp lets wheelchairs or scooters roll right in.
